The 2-Piece Flight Suit Jacket — First Responder, is the long-anticipated flagship piece of the Massif® First Responder Collection. The proprietary Flight Suit features a patented 3-point attachment system for increased flexibility while maintaining coverage during flash fire events. When starting the process, our team sought to enhance the capabilities of HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Management Services), Fire Aviation, and LE (Law Enforcement) personnel with direct user feedback that led to the true navy-blue colorway. The mesh-lined pockets contribute to heat-stress mitigation and added quick drying capabilities, while the combination of proper seam placement, and a modern fit in a fully flame-resistant Sigma 4 Star™ Ripstop with Dupont™ Kevlar® and Nomex® Fabric provides durability, comfort, and rapid dry times.

• Care Instructions

  • Turn garment inside out
  • Machine wash cold
  • Do not use chlorine bleach, fabric softener, or starch
  • Tumble dry low heat
  • Do not dry clean

  • Take your measurements over your basic undergarments normally worn. Stand erect without shoes with your feet shoulder width apart. For circumference measurements, make sure to keep the tape measure parallel to the floor. Determine your measurements following the directions below.

    CHEST – With arms down, measure around the fullest part of your chest.

    WAIST – Measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

    HIP/SEAT – Measure around the fullest point of your hip/seat.

    THIGH – Measure around your thigh, 1″ below crotch. Thighs often differ between legs; measure both and use larger measurement.

    INSEAM – Measure from crotch point to the floor. Make sure you are standing with your weight balanced and posture straight.

    

    Tips for Accurate Measurement:

    • For best accuracy, have someone else take your measurements.
    • Take your measurements over the undergarments you typically wear.
    • Stand straight but relaxed, with feet placed shoulder width apart.
    • Take measurements barefoot or in socks.
    • Use a flexible cloth measuring tape.
    • Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor when you take your measurements.
    • When taking inseam measurements, stand straight and look straight ahead. If you look down at your feet, the measurement may come in shorter than it should!

    Tip: Length Sizing For Tops

    Long Massif tops generally feature approximately 3cm of extra length than a Regular at the bottom hem and approximately 4cm additional sleeve length.
    Short tops are generally approximately 3cm shorter than a Regular at the bottom hem and approximately 4cm shorter on the sleeve.

    What that means to you: In general, if your sleeves are around your knuckles when your arms are down, or if you are constantly pushing your sleeves up, consider a Short. If your sleeves tend to sit above your wrists when your arms are down, consider a Long. When you raise your arms above your head if your stomach is showing, you should also consider a Long.

    Please note: Since body proportions vary from person to person, and it is not unusual for someone to need a different length top than they need in a pants. In other words, if you require a top in Long that does not automatically translate to needing a Long pant.

    Достаточно измерить длину окружности головы (в сантиметрах или дюймах) и определить по таблице соответствия (верхняя таблица в нижней части публикации). Некоторые компании наносят менее подробную буквенную маркировку. Официальные поставщики DoD, как правило не прибегают в подобной практике.

    

    Для того чтобы определить размер брюк, надо измерить длину окружности талии и длину внутреннего шва брюк (от паховой области, до нижнего среза), либо расстояние от паха до косточки ступни (см фото). Переводим полученные величины в дюймы и находим свой размер по таблице соответствия (нижняя левая).

    

    Для того чтобы определить размер куртки, надо измерить длину окружности груди (в самом широком месте) и рост или либо длину руки (в зависимости от таблицы используемой производителем). Для измерения длинны руки ее надо положить на пояс и расположить сантиметр от позвоночника, далее по плечу, локтю и до запястья (см на фото). Переводим полученные величины в дюймы и находим свой размер по таблице соответствия (нижняя правая).
