The HFhSsM61025 by Really Right Stuff is a custom M6-1.0 x 25mm flathead mounting screw made specifically for our B2-40 Lever Release Clamp, B2-AS II Lever Release Clamp, and our B2-Pro II Clamp.
Really Right Stuff has always rejected coin-slotted screws for our products, no matter how convenient they may appear. Sufficient torque to properly fix the screw just can't be generated with a coin. Instead, we've always chosen hex-socket screws to anchor our quick-release plates. Hex keys deliver more than enough torque for the job, are compact, inexpensive, and universally available.
